This routine populates the Activity Log which pulls together data from all areas of the Platform that resulted from direct action between a contact and your church. The Activity Log is used for general searches, management views and other tasks. It allows for queries against activity taking place that belongs to an Individual, a Household, a Congregation, a Ministry and/or a Program.

The Activity Log runs every night and will tag all current Group Participants with the date it last runs. This way, it is obvious by looking at the activity log which people are current members of specific groups. Don't want being in a group to count as activity? A SPoC can set the Activity Log Start Date to Yes so the Activity Log will only record the Start Date of the Group as activity.
